Sudbury`s Glencore and Vale

A few Noront BOD, Glencore/Xstrata formally Falconbridge all know of each other.

Glencore and Vale own and operate the smelters in Sudbury, cannot picture them not making a go at Noront. Would it not make perfect sense?
