Message: And the winner is…

Everyone, except maybe one of Wyloo or BHP, or both if the mysterious 3rd party surfaces.

The article Ringer posted reminded me that the way both companies have described the ROF, at the end of the day there will be many winners, no matter who wins the bidding war. Both companies understand what they are buying and are big enough and have the wherewithal to tackle the task ahead:

- the road will get built - and the FN's will finally get jobs and the prosperity they deserve (not just the clean water Jagmeet is promising),
- there will be jobs for generations - a win for Ontario and Canada,
- there will be lots of nickel to build all sorts of EV's - a win for the climate and Tesla,
- there will also be lots of copper, chromite and other metals to build all sorts of products we haven't even dreamed of yet - a win for everyone, and especially North America.

And, with a bit of luck, the winning bid will truly be a fair price - a win for the lowly shareholders.

GLTA.
