I find it interesting to look at the duration of bidding for Voisey Bay. Around 15 months (from Nov 94 to Mar 96). 
It seems like the demand for resources then would be small compared to now.

 

Just in case, I am preparing myself for a long episode of back and forth. The buyers have in hand record profits to spend. This could be a runaway if three pieces fall in place. 

- FN onside in whatever form

- road confirmation

- addition results with good hits
