Why would Wyloo or any other major reputable mining company want to dilute the sp? Have heard this mentioned a few times and cannot fathom any reason why they would do it. Is there a history of them doing it before? Diluting the shares would dilute their share ownership value.
Initially they did want to buy out Noront and go private which makes sense. This would eliminate all the costly filings, BOD salaries, listing fees knowing that it would apparently by all reports be at best at least 5 years before a mine could even be considered. The BHP bid and probably shareholder response forced them to alter that plan. Think maybe shareholders denouncing Coutts and the BOD also resulted in Wyloo offer included their replacement.
