BHP sweetens takeover offer for Canadian nickel miner Noront 2021-10-19 07:19:14 PM ET (Reuters) Oct 20 (Reuters) - BHP Group on Wednesday raised its takeover offer for Canadian nickel miner Noront Resources to C$419.3 million ($339.10 million), trumping a rival bid made by billionaire Andrew Forrest-owned Wyloo Metals earlier this week. The world's largest miner increased its offer to C$0.75 per share and said the proposal had the support of Noront.
