Whatever negotiations are taking place, even if they are taking place at all - is not about price. That would have happened rather quickly. It wouldn't have taken Wyloo 3 months to decide if they want 75c or 80c for their shares.

 

My guess is that a deal has already been completed, and now BHP will drag this on as long as they can to shake the retail tree.
