Yes, Ringer...This is good news. Could very well be the reason for the Wyloo/BHP delays. Neither company will have an easy time moving their agendas forward without Indigenous support. Neskantaga, as you've said, really needs to choose their next move wisely. I think the point has come where the other First Nations are starting get tired of Neskantaga's continued opposition to everything until they get their way. I am under this impression that there has been compromise from every other First Nation except Neskanataga, and that their demands have now become unreasonable. Only adding to the delays in progress. I hope the others can talk sense into them, but I can see from Neskantaga's past opposition that they are not going to give easily unless there are threats of moving on without them. Especially, if they should once again want more then they rightfully deserve.
The old saying, " The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few" is what Chief Moonias of Neskantaga has to come to terms with, which I think he'll soon be learning.
