That post merely stated that any company is going to try and purchase something for a price of as low as they can.  Same thing any of us would do when making a significant investment.  Then, when there was competition, they paid more.

I still don't see any connection between the CEO of Nutrien resigning and Noront or the ROF?

Nutrien operates potash mines in Saskatchewan, while BHP is building one.  What does any of this have to do with the ROF?
