Very encouraging to see that Webequie and Marten Falls are determined to see this happen. Kudos to both of these First Nations for their perseverance, and I wish them all the success in the world in seeking a new life for their people. This is a big step for them to take when so many other First Nations on the side lines have chosen to not support them in their efforts. Each and every First Nation has a right to self-governance and the pursuit of prosperity through eco commerce and resource development within their own jurisdictions.... If it is done responsibly. It is only through the encouragement and support from their fellow First Nations and the rest Canada that resource development projects, such as the the Ring of Fire, will be made possible for all to benefit. Listening to, and addressing, the concerns of others as well as dealing with the possible effects on the environment must be respected in all instances, but this should not halt the responsible progress of others who seek to find solutions to such issues. Especially, when it is done in serving the best interests of all.
TM.
Good luck to Webequie and Marten Falls :)
