Once a cheap source of raw materials from the less fortune, but resource rich, it seems the third world countries across the globe are now becoming emboldened to nationalisation when it comes to the commodities they export. So, they are now looking to rewrite the rules in their favour regardless of what was agreed upon in the past with the companies mining in their country. No more walking over these people to get what you want in a world that is getting smaller and more volatile, and expensive, to deal with. In many ways there are dictatorship popping up everywhere. Some for the people and some against. But one thing is for certain, as the price of commodities goes up the need to establish supplies closer to home will become a national priority; US/CAN Critical Minerals Strategy.
