This to me this says....This is not all about Noront..This is bigger than Noront. This is about the Ring of Fire and so much more, and in that context projects like the Ring of Fire cannot, and will not, be allowed to move forward without a degree of transparency and government/public oversight. The Ring will follow a "Made in Canada" framework where private investment is welcomed, but will not solely control. It is not in the best interests of Canada to relinquish control over such projects of national significance and security, even if a foreign entity has the means to. On Canadian soil Canada must take the lead first in collaboration with its allies, and NOT the other way around.
