I live in Owen Sound, Ontario. It is on Georgian Bay about 2 hours nw of Toronto.

Bio - I am 59 years old and was raised and spent the first 40 years of my life in Toronto. Moved hear in 89 after selling my house at the peak just before the crash.

I have been self employed for most of my life in various different endevours. The last 12 years, I have been a financial planner working with people who want someone else to manage their money, so for them, mutual funds make sense and that is the area I work in.

I am fairly new to stock picking and investing, but since I have been laid up with cancer the last two years, I have been educating myself and find it very interesting. When I retire, I plan on spending most of my time managing my own money.
