Bentonstocks, I know where you are coming from and the situation is worsening but why spend the time, money and effort to make new laws? The criminals are not obeying the existing laws and they will not obey any new ones. Thats what makes them criminals. The only ones obeying any new laws will be law abiding citizens and that will solve nothing.

Any people that are using handguns in a criminal manner need to be prosecuted in the most heavey handed manner possible. This is the only hope of reducing the severity of this problem. The sooner our judges give out severe penalties for any gun crimes the safer out society will become. Guns do not shoot people, people shoot people.
