Since there is some interest in golf on this thread, thought some of you would like to know that the team from British Columbia won the Junior's America Cup (Western US, Mexico, Canada, for 14-17 year old boys), which was held over the last three days at the course I play in Pasadena, CA. Two of the BC players, Justin Shin and Charlie Hughes, really distinguished themselves, Shin shooting 5 under for the three rounds (4 better than anyone else), and Hughes coming in with a 5 under 65 in the third round.

The course is tight with lots of ups and downs, and, while not exceedingly difficult, is quite tricky for those who don't know it well. Justin Shin's score of 205 is remarkable. Congrats to the BC team!
