I have two strategies and they are not mutually exclusive but complimentary.
The basic one is for my long hold.
I hardly touch those shares except that over the past year ( since hole 49 ) my long hold increased by about 20%. That 20% was largely obtained at little or no cost to me. These shares will most likely not be touched until the sp goes above 4$. once it goes above I will progressively sell as the sp rises with last ones going for 15$ or there abouts. Those prices is not set in concrete but will vary according to circumstance, ex. buyout offer.
Then there is the other strategy and that deals with my short term trading and I have commented on that a bit. Anyway, my short hold as of this moment is about 50% the size of my long hold. Imagine that, I say I trade about 10% of my hold, so how can that be?
Well, I hold short term but I do not trade all of them at once. Usually no more than 10% at a time and graduated with the moving sp.
So unlike the brave comments on this forum; Yes they will get some of my shares But I do not regard these short term shares as My shares but Their shares that I borrowed from them to return at a higher price.
Yes these guys are scaring us now so that we will be more willing patsies to sell at a slightly higher price. That does not bother me much. I get my profits on a fairly regular basis to turn them into additional shares to my long hold and to enjoy a few perks that I otherwise would not. One of the perks is to outright brag about it, lol.
