Message: just reading the handout before voting

i figured why not be as informed as possible.

i was interested in the corporate governance section on page 29.

looking at #4 and the ethical business conduct, i noticed the last line which states,"the directors understand their fiduciary obligations as directors of a public company and have developed a code of business conduct and ethics."

i'm not sure they do understand the times we are in as wages are being frozen by the governing party in ontario. ethically speaking, now does not appear to be the time to vote pay raises and compensations.

and #6 refers to compensation and granting stock options. 'compensation will be determined with reference in part to compensation of officers and directors in similar industries performing similar functions."

'well if they're getting it, we should too", is not the ethics i was looking for from my board of governors/directors.

the back page of the annual report has the bald eagle in flight and under it, wes's 'mantra?', "keeping our eye on your prize"

presently i see my prize, ostensibly money, being taken by the board as they eye it.

for my mind the bald eagle is a symbol of strength/integrity/determination. i don't think it yet fits into what wes is presenting to us.

i was thinking that i have almost as many shares as the entire board and i earned them by going into the market and buying at various prices.

and you know, today was an absolutely beautiful day in the woods. :-)
