While here, I am totally opposed to unrelated topics being posted on the Noront forum. This is the place to post them. Yes Luker I mean you and the Brexit topic. Normally I would not post so publically but would send you a Private Message but PMs being not functional I post here ( Agoracom told me that it is due to abuse of PMs for other, imo due to non-legal purposes that it is on hold and perhaps to be secured at some future date).

I am retired and spend at least a few months of every year in Europe, after all I am a European with dual citizenship. Europe and my roots have always fascinated me so now that am free to do as I please and health permitting I visit it. Due to that I keep a keen interest in European affairs and much of my assets are now based in Europe. Just hazing my bets should one of the economies fall apart.

Enough about me, just posting where I come from because my roots and back ground colour my views.

Foremost in Europe is the attention on the migrants from middle east and Africa. It puts stress on the member nations of EU. Just consider these members as a confederation of states as in Canada but in early stages so there are teething problems.
Merkel, Germany due to decades long relationship with Turkey, is willing to accept muslim immigrants. However, France, Hungary, Poland and now even England are of opposite view. That opinion stems from the fact that even if 10,000 immigrants are accepted but among them is one terrorist then it is not worth the risk. Further justification is that such people should be going to muslim countries and not to 'socialist' western Europe where they would get automatic social benefits.
Brexit is a reaction to immigrants being imposed on a member country by the rest of Europe, and that is mostly a reaction against Germany and Merkel in particular. ( I personally am aquainted with a few people in Germany who are vehemontly opposed to Merkel now but in the past did vote for her. I also Was supportive.)
