I can't jump on the Atomic-bashing bandwagon having been an investor in OPEL for years. The coverage on POET has probably increased 1000% since Atomic was hired.

The SP is insane, we all agree on that. But blaming Atomic for it isn't fair. Both management and Atomic (and Grayling) are perfomring the tasks they were hired to complete with amazing results so far in all areas except the SP. It just goes to show that you can do everything right and still lose.

Lest we forget that what everyone involved in POET is trying to accomplish hasn't been attempted since the advent of silicon ICs. Some people out there simply can't see anything like the rise of Si ICs ever happening again, and they disbelieve in POET's potential based on probablility alone, and the DD stops there.

I'm constantly reminded of the digging my uncle did on my behalf in contacting a director of Luxtera to ask about POET (then OPEL). The director replied that OPEL wasn't even on their radar because nobody ws going to spend $2B-$3B to fab POET chips. This is a guy who ought to know that POET is "bolt-on" with current manufacturing and doesn't require a new fab. That fact is going to bite him on the wazoo, isn't it? I wonder if POET is on his radar now . . .
