Well they certainly don't deserve it cheap. They didn't spend decades working on it, and there are other tech companies in the social media space being bought out for over a billion. Why do they deserve the high pay out but something like POET that could change the entire semiconductor industry be taken out for cheap? They want it, they better pay up.. and hopefully management will not give in so easily as I've seen in the past with other companies (mainly in the resource sector).
