I stand corrected. It seems that the USPTO site requires that all terms of a search be part of the search string.
You will notice that some of the patents on your list are "University of Connecticut" while others are "The University of Connecticut"
I thought searching for an\University-of-Connecticut should list anything containing those words. I was wrong - sorry folks. It looks like UConn has their grubby fingers on most POET patents:
