Rob, to be honest I am here because I believe this is the best investment opportunity I've ever been in. In fact (this might be hard to believe) I am generally a glass-half-full kind of guy but I generally don't say anything positive on this board because the board is so full of positive energy and perspective already that I believe contributing to that aspect at this time won't add any value to the board. We have a lot of posters here who do a great job with that and provide great information. A lot of it is very optimistic and often doesn't actually happen and whats most frustrating is the SP has never reflected even a fraction of the enthusiam that we are all exposed to on this board, and its healthy to have these ideas challenged based on past history of this company.
I also don't see what we've gone through in the last 3 years, with our money locked up in this investment so long, as a postive thing either with all the other opportunities that passed me by. I also don't believe credit should be given until it is earned, and hopefully we are very close to that moment but won't get excited prematurely. There are a lot of new investors learning about PTK now, and those on the latest few private placements that are getting in lower then some of us is also disappointing. However, until there is a defining event that makes this thing real, (a PDA announcement, some further third party validation and deal that provides cash flow), I will see this as a continuation of the last 3 years we've experienced here on the POET train.
The most positive thing I can say at this point is all the delays have provided me the opportunity to accumulate a lot more shares then I thought I would ever have. I am betting they will eventually pay off, but I will be a little more realistic then most here on just how much, taking into consideration that if it looks too good to be true, it usually is. I would prefer to be pleasantly surprised.
