Sulasailor, while I agree with your post and with your views on the POET management and Taylor's tech team, there's still room for improvements:
- The management should communicate! "Do good and talk about it" is a well-known saying in marketing and public relations. And rightfully so! Unfortunately the POET management has not yet discovered this wisdom. Don't get me wrong. I know the company is in a blackout, but that doesn't mean they can't say anything at all. They could at least tell us that they can't tell us. And they could issue intermediate reports on e.g. milestone progress more frequently.
- The tech team should improve on giving estimates on how long something will take. It will always take longer than techies assume. And if it takes longer because something else takes precedence, that fine. But they should communicate this!
