Professors generally determine the percentage of the time they teach, research, and provide community service. Ie attend meetings. I would anticipate he has arranged to spend full time on research at UConn.. The line would be blurred between the company and the University but all the time will be research...the percentage to the university is such I cannot imagine he would have to spend time teaching...
