Dear Joel,

I think you know full well that your post is just a negative response to the unseemly hubris that your previous posts on this board have prompted. Your words are now biased to a degree that taints any rational appreciation of the POET technology. Its such a pity but you have prostituted your clear journalistic ability in such a shabby way. Ah the follies of youth!

What’s also clear is that you have not understood or perhaps even read the sources that were pointed out to you by some of the more senior posters to this board. These posters have carried out a considerable amount of due diligence and followed every move revealed by the POET management and technical team over the last four years at least. None of the sources pointed out to you are mentioned in your post so your words amount to personal un-researched opinion. Without reference to other authorities your words are consequently weakened by lack of substance.

Additionally, your post is a repetition of what we have heard from you already. It has not added to the debate what so ever. Sadly it will now attract yet another round of unseemly hubris, which could have been avoided, had you been more diligent in your research. In effect you have proved to the board what we all began to suspect from your earlier postings, that whilst your have the capacity to be a good journalist you are a lightweight as regards the technology you chose to write about, which seems to me to be a sham on your behalf.

Such a pity, but there we are, your fixation with scaling and wafer size and lack of meaningful research will mean that you could easily become a laughing stock who got it so wrong, which could now discredit you in your journalistic profession.

My advise to you is to forget further reporting on POET, please don’t dig yourself into a deeper hole, simply go out and buy yourself a good size batch of POET shares, as soon as you can whilst they are still relatively cheap. You are about to see that over the next months, this share will dramatically advance. Do what I suggest and you could start enjoying the benefits of an amazing financial opportunity by investing in a process that will replace CMOS silicon based IC. Otherwise you could be come a very sad person to have missed a once in the lifetime remarkable opportunity and ruined your journalistic credibility in the process.
