Rob, WhatsApp and Nest were private companies. What share price multiple are you talking about? They weren't publicly trading companies! You can't compare the acquisition of a private company and public company this way.
I'm not going to waste all day talking about this. I made my point, I presented the facts. Come to whatever conclusion you wish from them. No one is going to come in and offer 4 times the current share price without a bidding war. The investors of the acquiring company would be quite upset for one. Maybe a buyout for 100-150% is doable because POET is so disruptive but lets be realistic please.
