Green88: they are talking about a power reduction of 80 times ( yes 8000%)

As some people pointed out already, you cannot save more power than 100%. A "power reduction of 80 times" probably means that the new chip consumes the 80th part of the power the old chip does. Expressed in percent, this would be a power saving of 98.75%.
