A very well written treatise.

When I read the "20 fold increase in clock speed" and the "you can move BYTES at the speed of light inside and outside the microprocessor, so you can transfer at the highest possible speed in the physical world" comments, it occurred to me what a huge effect poet will have on "high frequency trading" which has been getting a fair amount of attention recently. Perhaps by then it will be illegal everywhere. I believe it is already illegal in some places.

Anyway, I hope this does not detract from your very persuasive thesis. It's something that just popped into my mind as I was reading.
