The article states there will be a competition for this 200 million for a photonics manufacturing institue. Interesting timing as Poet has just transfered from the lab to a fab. This funding is probably something Poet could pursue with its partners if we desired. I don't think we need the funding but it couldn't hurt. If Poet is what we think it is, our industry partners will put their weight behind it and bring it to market with or without government funding. The funding would be great for recognition of our technology.
