Well, the company is down a couple of salaries (with no CEO or VP of Technology) so that saves money but I would expect the next fund raising to come jointly with a partnership. I would expect that at some point a major partner will be named and that they would be associated with the raising of capital. I speculate that perhaps this partner could take a 10, 15 or 20% stake in Poet. Yes, this would cause further dilution but the exposure of having a major partner should far out weigh that fact.
Once again, this is just a speculative opinion but it seems logical. One would expect that a 40nm PDK being confimed and tested would be a necessary milestone to reach first but the partnership could occur soon after. If we assume that the PDK gets to potential customers by Christmas then one could expect testing to occur in January and a Q1 call for NRE revenue/ a partner could very well be plausible.
Things are looking very interesting and Poets 3-6 month time line from the AGM is still in tact.
