Well, if it were Google taking a look at POET (that is, in the 1 in 1000 chance it was), I think that would have been bad news, since no offer was made. Based on what our techies knew about the POET tech at that time, why wouldn't Google pick us up hen for $4 billion if they had even a cursory look? And it's certainly not because the Poet board told them don't even bother (heck, they might even go to jail for something like that, but more likely, institutionalized!). Google would not have taken if further because they didn't like what they saw. And don't forget who'd be doing the looking, not a bunch of dummies!

Sometimes, I think, people really get carried way, way away. Perhaps it was that green close today!!
