Oh, geez, it's not that important that people here understand it, for goodness sakes it's completely Greek to me and my guess it, to many who post here. And even those that have some background so as to give them some knowledge, the things that they can't possibly know, may be the things that determine ultimate success of failure.

The investment world is full of people who invest in one thing or another for various good reasons, and only one of those good reasons is because they understand what it is the company does, inside and out. For goodness sakes, when you put your money in a mutual fund, you're trusting someone else to put your money to work, and they are trusting someone else, too.

People have invested in POET because the overall story sounds great, because someone they trust told them POET's a good investment, but also because people can read posts by obviously technically savvy people and even though the readers don't understand the technical part, they can make a determination if the person is being genuine and can evaluate, by plain old human senses, whether or not the person knows what they are talking about. None of the above guarantees success, of that everyone should be certain.

I'm sure MSFT made millionaires out of a whole lotta people who didn't know software from hardware!
