It has always been problematic funding and transfering funds in all four of my Qtrade and Questrade accounts. On average, it takes up to 2 days for any action, even though electronic fund transfers are supposedly done "instantly". Are margin calls this slow? I guess you get what you pay for with on-line brokerages. I like the L2 trading with Qtrade however.
