I'm not sure NRs are held back or timed for greater affect, or to wait for warrants etc. I refer to FJs post (below) which contained a response from CC about calming the masses. News will be released when it has to be released.

In reference to calming the masses this statement. I’m almost certain that I have spoken with several individuals who appreciate the volatility and trading environment that volatility brings on. That said, the board wants assurances at what is perceived as a late stage in the game for many as they’ve held onto POET through its many iterations over the years from Solar to Semi-. So I do understand what everyone has gone through emotionally and mentally. The fact remains though that the Company since my journey with them has started is one that involves becoming more buttoned up and that includes holding onto information to ensure that there are no leaks as had happened in the past or allegedly. While investors may read into timing of PR’s, and why they come out when they do, the short answer is they come out as a material release and therefore when mandated by an exchange or required to be released in a timely manner as per exchange rules then that is when the PR comes out. There are no other responses to this question. They aren’t timed for trading etc…etc…as some may think. Most PR’s have to go through too many layers of approval internally and externally to even allow for timing.
