AbelDD: Although I would be curious to know how much traffic Rainer's blog has daily..
Well, my new blog post had 555 views yesterday (day of publication) and 52 today (so far, with three more while I wrote these lines).
Yesterday about 57 % came via Agoracom and 22 % via the Sunny3999 forum, a German forum primarily focusing on POET Technologies.
Overall my blog had 6,500 views in January, which is somewhat below average. The "Video leaked!" article posted on the very last day of the month managed to become the second best individual article, beaten only by an article on how to use USB with VirtualBox, which is my long-standing overall top performer since 2011. ;-)
Not surprisingly my blog gets a spike when I post a new article, but there is always a residuum of views of older stuff – and not only on POET Technologies. Overall there are about 7,500 – 8,000 views per month.
By the way, the best month ever was August 2014 with a story about the Pellegrino 2 report outperformed by another one on the AGM and the lab tour. The reason is most likely the latter has pictures. :-)
