Correct me if I am wrong here, but isn't Poet stock measured in Candian dollars first which is on the Canadian exchange and then sold or bought on other exchanges ie. American, European after the conversion from the Canadian dollar?
I think the Canadian Dollar sets the the bar in this case for what the price is selling at.
So if our dollar was even with the US dollar we would be trading at $1.38 US and 1.38 Can.
We are trading at $1.08 US right now and $1.38 Can. If the exchange ratio changes and our Candian dollar is worth more against the American dollar, the American poetf side will rise not the opposite where the poet canadian stock will decline. IMHO
