Lately I feel like an economist waiting for the Fed to release its statement, and going through it line by line to look for any slight deviations in wording! :)

All in all, a part of me is disappointed with the updated CP while another part has gained in excitement:

i) As already mentioned on this board, the move from "2015" to "2H2015" for NRE revenues was a bit of a disappointment for me. That said, this provides us with a more concrete timing of such an event (and may prove a conservative assessment).

ii) The fact that that Dan DeSimone stated that "......for our next two significant milestones expected at the end of Q1: a 100-nm ring oscillator and a 50 GHz VCSEL.” also proved a slight disappointment. Rather than saying "by the end" the words chosen were "at the end". This to me signals that such milestones will be achieved very close to end Q1 or falling into Q2. Was a little surprised that no one made reference to this.

iii) What excites me is the fact that I am of the belief that PTK would not have begun advertising to the world (specifically the US.....and now London meetings) what it possessed without looking to follow this up with some form of big announcement. My thoughts are that this is more than the announcement of a new CEO (which could be big if the right person is on-boarded) but that of some form of partnership.

iv) the change in wording within the CP (e.g. "ultimately replacing current silicon based IC devices") is also firming up.....this i like!

v) What I fear most is that if the stock price remains at these low prices for an extended timeframe, this makes it vulnerable (just vulnerable) to further dilution (not from additional financing given our current cash position) from the issuance of significant new options/warrants to management etc come annual meeting time. This would be very disappointing to me but greed can be a powerful thing.

Without the announcement of a partnership, or a larger than life CEO coming on board, I am truly perplexed as to why PTK would start promoting itself as it has of late. Without such announcement(s), I don't see what would move the stock price higher pre next milestone completion.
