Intel will know about POET at some level.

Lets assume they understand the benefits of lll lV materiels. Its instincts will be to research its way out of the end of Moores law in Si. If we believe in POET we have to accept that others will see the light as well.

At present there seems to be a deluge of Intel articles which I can't help thinking might be based on fear that there may just be something out there that looks as if they (Intel) have got a problem. Which indeed they have. So their reaction might be don't worry we have got it covered. But have they?

POET is so far down the line to implementation as an available solution to others without the R&D overload. It combines optical and electrical allows system on a chip design to be integrated by customers in their chips not a intel prescribed solution to customers. Its inovations are protected by a raft of patents.

Frankly, I think POET is the answer to the maiden's prayer.
