Sometime ago this topic came up and I recall at the time suggesting the following:
P2 top end value of $4.5B to around $7B is very conservative and would be considered somewhat of a stink bid which I believe the BoD would not recommend to the shareholders.
A bid of $7-$10B would be a real tease and significant enough to tempt the BoD to recommend it to the shareholders (perhaps and depending upon who the bidder was)
And, anything north of $10B would get very serious consideration and would likely result in a deal.
In consideration of yesterday's events, I'm beginning to believe that the $10B value may get bumped to $12.5B and anything north of that would get done.
Just my opinion of course.
