I had a very quick read of the TFSA rules. Even in the situation where the $10k limit gets shot down (highly unlikely), the penalty is only 1% per month on the over-contribution. Assuming you didn't remove the over contribution, you would pay the penalty until January 1st, 2016 when your limit increases again. So really thats $45/month for 8 months ~$360. Pretty small gamble. I lost more in Vegas last weekend in about 10 minutes at the tables. Lol.
