It's like a damage insurance: You hope you don't need it, you do everything to avoid the damage, but you are still having the insurance and you are paying the rates, because better to have it, and not need it, than need it, and not have it.
The rates in our case would be the share price fluctuations, if any, caused by psychological irritations. And since our 5:1 RS option will be replaced by a 3:1 RS option, this is equivalent to an insurance rate reduction for the same benefit, read: Nasdaq listing.
