Whether true competitors, or wannabes, it does not matter as long as they research the IP before walking onto thin ice. The economics of half-measures is not something to be trifled with. All of that protection that Dr. Taylor has put into place will cause serious roadblocks, and buy POET time, as alternatives are developed by the competition. If everything that POET claims, ends up being true, then I would expect to see some domination.
