"Shift left" means to find a problem earlier in the design process making it less costly to fix and offers more degrees freedom to fix them. From one of the articles posted by Eileen, "Adios Silicon", by Daniel Nenni. POET seems like it could preclude many of the problems encountered with Silicon with node reduction as the complexity and costs increase. "All roads lead to POET". It seems GaAs is well suited for node reductions. Thanks for posting those very informative articles Elieen.
