PC is no longer the decision maker CEO. The new CEO is now accountable to the Board and may have made some preliminary conditions of accepting his new appointment including changng milestones and developing a new execution plan. So whatever PC committed to may have been overidden by the new execution plan for good reasons. At the time PC made the statements he had intent of doing so but with the new people on the Executive and Board there may be new ideas that take a little longer to develop, implement and make real. We already know that a new plan was under development. The new CEO and his executive team are probably pushing hard to make things happen as soon as practical. They are the ones responsible for executng not PC.
