So what are we doing now....guessing the good docs intentions,how he feels etc etc The new group have seen and have what they need to get the show on the road so the doc has moved aside to allow other experts to join the company and move the tech into the market place. The good doc now can work at his leisure to come up with other possible uses or betterment of poet tech !! thats it !! simple
