Additionally if there were a binding agreement we would know the nature of the contract because it would be a material event and the company would be bound by law to publish. We do not, and therefore it is not binding. I don't believe I am speculating when I write this.
I suggest that that is the reason for the M.O.U The parties that are involved with POET still want to keep everything secret as much as and as long as possible. With an M.O.U Poet can announce this little bit of information to give some direction as to the progress they are making but are not requirred to give any other information as would be the case in a legal agreement. They are abiding by the wishes of these other parties who, from day one, wanted absolute silence on their talks and negoiations.
