There are skills people have that cross industries. PC acknowledged long ago that the technology is beyond his full understanding as he is a "markets guy". If PC was instrumental in bringing Ajit on board, and likely had his hand in helping to bring the rest of the heavy hitters from the industry, then he is doing something of value for the company.
