Seems like PET (or at least Sam) wants to broker deals for POET. Perhaps it's as simple as POET long ago promised Sam a favor for whatever reason, possibly a very good one.

We did a deal with Anadigics, and they were not exactly blue bloods (but at least were in the correct business for years), so there is precedent to contracting with flimsy balance sheets.

I look at this from another perspective, according to the charts, they met with 10 companies already. So why aren't those people (or their inlaws) gobbling up POET stock?
