Jack, I think commodity companies are different because they mine, or drill for something that is tangible and already has a very defined value (ie. copper or oil). Based on drill results, or geological surveys the market can get a fairly accurate indication of what may actually be there in the ground or wherever and therefore apply a forward valuation before the first pound or barrel is extracted. Pharmaceuticals are more difficult I think, and tend to need to prove something before a multiple is applied. But technology.....well that's a different beast altogether, especially with something like this that is not well understood by most market paricipants, and given how fast the world of technology is changing. This, to me anyway, is where FJ and Rainer (among many others) are worth their weight in gold, with their explanation of this technology and it's applications. But they are but merely a few people and not the whole market, and therefore until there is something proven that the market does recognize (ie. revenue) this stock can do what it pleases. And right now it sucks!!! But hopefully each day brings us closer to the awakening......
