So it is these new investor's job to get the share price moving, that's what they do, they invest as a business. I would think, however, that anyone profiting from bringing down the share price with inside knowledge of what the offering price was going to be is doing something illegal, no matter whom they may be. The price came down into the 50's fairly rapidly after the PO announcment, but not on all that many shares so it could be just market "players" maybe even pissed off x-forum members.
