We're inventing a better mousetrap. Nothing about our technology would need 5+ years to be vetted and protected by the military before being allowed to be released. If we had 5+ years ago what we are still trying to build prototypes for now, it would have already been in the market for years. Nothing about the military or NASA would prevent that.

What Poet is creating is a better mousetrap that is extremely promising, something that will allow the industry to continue to on the trajectory we've been on instead of getting bottlenecked. You guys make it seem like POET is creating something that would unbalance the world if it was released.
